I joined this challenge back in October and it was the best decision for me, as an intermediate learner. Instructor corrected my grammar and pronunciation on the spot during the online classes and having other students was super motivating! In terms of materials, it was challenging especially when I had to express my opinion and give 3 reasons why I think so – all in Korean! 😬 So it was definitely a challenge to my conversational Korean but I got inspired to keep learning!

The challenge is great for intermediate learners. The class is taught almost entirely in Korean, but the teacher explains things with simple grammar and vocabulary so it’s possible to follow along. There is a good emphasis on constructing sentences and having conversations, and learning how to say things in a natural-sounding way. It’s fun meeting other language learners, and it’s helpful to get feedback and perspective from other students.

The class is more suitable for intermediate learners with some foundation in Korean. It was a little tough for me at the beginning, especially having to speak in Korean. But it definitely helped me to improve and build confidence in speaking the language. The topics are fun and interesting too.
It was fun meeting other learners from other countries as we interact and speak with each other. Will recommend it to my friends!

Intensive Challenge January/February
This class was fantastic! I have taken a few Korean classes in different formats and this one has been the best so far! Chris is really organized and can pinpoint your Korean challenges easily, offering personalized feedback/suggestions. I liked the format of the class (homework every weekday, group classes twice a week, and a one-one meeting every week). The content was more interesting than other classes I have taken and I liked that it got progressively more difficult as the week went on. Thank you Chris! I will see you in the next Intensive class!
