You\u2019re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn\u2019t try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Chapter Seoul.<\/p><p>Chapter Seoul is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you\u2019re paying for.<\/p><p>The JAEM app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, to provide our Service. It\u2019s your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware\/viruses\/malicious programs, compromise your phone\u2019s security features and it could mean that the JAEM app won\u2019t work properly or at all.<\/p><div><p>The app does use third-party services that declare their Terms and Conditions.<\/p><p>Link to Terms and Conditions of third-party service providers used by the app<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/terms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Play Services<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/analytics\/terms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Analytics for Firebase<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/firebase.google.com\/terms\/crashlytics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Firebase Crashlytics<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/legal\/terms\/plain_text_terms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div><p>You should be aware that there are certain things that Chapter Seoul will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but Chapter Seoul cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don\u2019t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don\u2019t have any of your data allowance left.<\/p><p>If you\u2019re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that the terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third-party charges. In using the app, you\u2019re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you\u2019re using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.<\/p><p>Along the same lines, Chapter Seoul cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the app i.e. You need to make sure that your device stays charged \u2013 if it runs out of battery and you can\u2019t turn it on to avail the Service, Chapter Seoul cannot accept responsibility.<\/p><p>With respect to Chapter Seoul\u2019s responsibility for your use of the app, when you\u2019re using the app, it\u2019s important to bear in mind that although we endeavor to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Chapter Seoul accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.<\/p><p>At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android & iOS \u2013 the requirements for the both systems(and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you\u2019ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. Chapter Seoul does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and\/or works with the Android & iOS version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Scope of Refund Policy<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"360\" data-end=\"616\">This refund policy applies to all <strong data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"411\">Video Courses \ub3d9\uc601\uc0c1 \uc218\uc5c5<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"438\">Challenge Programs<\/strong> offered by JAEM Korean.<br data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"465\" \/>Refund eligibility and conditions differ by product type due to the nature of digital content delivery, access to materials, and cohort-based services.<\/p><p data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"664\"><strong>2. Refund Policy for Video Courses<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"712\"><strong>2.1 Refund Eligibility Within 7 Days<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"713\" data-end=\"796\">Customers may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided that:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"860\">Only a minimal portion of the course has been accessed, and<\/li><li data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"933\">Downloaded materials and viewed lessons may be subject to deduction.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"1054\">A full refund is not guaranteed if course materials have been accessed beyond what is deemed reasonable for evaluation.<\/p><p data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1095\"><strong>2.2 Refunds After 7 Days<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1239\">Refunds requested after the initial 7-day period follow the <em data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1207\">Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce<\/em> and JAEM Korean\u2019s Terms of Use.<\/p><p data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1239\">Refund amounts are calculated based on:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1328\">The number of lessons accessed or completed<\/li><li data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1375\">The number of downloadable items retrieved<\/li><li data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1433\">The original (non-discounted) price of the course<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1491\">After 7 days, the following refund conditions apply:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1604\">If less than 25% of the course has been completed \u2192 Partial refund available based on unused content<\/li><li data-start=\"1607\" data-end=\"1686\">If 25% or more of the course has been completed \u2192 No refund available<\/li><li data-start=\"1689\" data-end=\"1766\">If 3 months have passed since the purchase date \u2192 No refund available<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1773\" data-end=\"1812\"><strong data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1810\">2.3 Non-Refundable Conditions<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1813\" data-end=\"1894\">Refunds for video courses cannot be issued under any of the following conditions:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1949\">More than <strong data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"1919\">3 months<\/strong> have elapsed since purchase<\/li><li data-start=\"1952\" data-end=\"2001\"><strong data-start=\"1952\" data-end=\"1967\">25% or more<\/strong> of the course has been accessed<\/li><li data-start=\"2004\" data-end=\"2091\">Downloaded materials or viewed lessons exceed allowable limits for refund eligibility<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2098\" data-end=\"2144\"><strong data-start=\"2101\" data-end=\"2144\">3.
